The adjustments in question sound trivial. That's exactly why nobody builds them for you:

• The time tracker hardly anyone else uses. There is no import – so every month you retype what has been digital all along.
• The accountant with their own column order. Their system imports exactly one format. So you re-sort by hand.
• Your industry's fee schedule. Rates and tables travel from the PDF into the estimate by copy and paste, every single time.
• The surcharge your business has calculated the same way for twenty years. Two lines of logic nobody else needs.
• That one field from your old software the whole migration hinges on.
• The mailing export for the tool only you use.

The moment it clicks

Closing a gap like that used to mean paying someone who can write code. That part is now handled by an AI assistant such as Claude Code, and it starts with a conversation.

You describe in plain language what you are missing: "I'd like to bring the hours over from this tool." That's all it takes to start. The AI asks back – maybe for a sample file, for the calculation rule, for the special case at year end.

Then the part nobody ever felt like doing happens: the technical documentation gets worked through, the interface gets tried out, the real data gets examined. You look at the result, correct two details – and suddenly the very thing you have been missing for years is sitting in front of you.
