Is your PDF really a PDF/A? The checker checks the key criteria directly in your browser and reliably flags violations — your file does not leave your computer. For a full validation, you can then have the file checked with veraPDF on our server.
The quick check runs entirely in your browser — no upload, no cloud, no network call. Only if you then explicitly start the full check is the file transferred to our own server in Germany and deleted right after the check.

We built this so you don't have to upload sensitive PDFs to a third-party service. A passed partial check is not proof of conformance. That is what the full check with veraPDF, the open-source reference validator for PDF/A and PDF/UA, provides. It runs on our own server in Germany, not at a third-party service, and only when you explicitly start it.
