E-Invoicing on Mac: Factur-X & PDP France (2026/2027)
From September 2027, small and micro-businesses in France will have to issue their B2B invoices electronically – sending a PDF by email will no longer be enough. Large companies are affected from September 2026. On the Mac, GrandTotal exports natively to the Factur-X format and connects to a certified PDP for direct sending, with no manual upload to a web portal.
What is a PDP?
A PDP (Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire) is a state-certified platform for exchanging electronic invoices. It validates, transmits and reports invoice data to the tax authorities. Businesses must register with at least one PDP.
Deadlines
September 2027: small and micro-businesses must issue electronic invoices. For most GrandTotal customers, this is the decisive deadline.
September 2026: large companies must issue electronic invoices. All businesses must be able to receive electronic invoices by this date.
GrandTotal & SuperPDP
GrandTotal supports export in the Factur-X format. For customers with an L or XL subscription, a beta integration with SuperPDP is available – a certified PDP for sending invoices directly from GrandTotal.
To connect GrandTotal to SuperPDP, first create an OAuth application on the SuperPDP website, then enter the credentials in GrandTotal.
1. Create an application on SuperPDP
Sign in at superpdp.tech and create a new application with the following settings:
- Entreprise (Company): select your company. The OAuth application's permissions are restricted to the chosen company.
- URLs de redirection (Redirect URLs): leave this field empty (optional).
- Type d'application (Application type): choose confidentielle (confidential). This type is appropriate when the client_id and client_secret are stored on the client (desktop application).
After creation, you will receive a Client ID and a Client Secret.
2. Enable SuperPDP for a client
Open the client's master data and scroll to the E-invoice section, then select (BETA) SUPER PDP from the drop-down menu. Click the settings icon to enter the credentials you obtained. The credentials only need to be entered once – they apply to every client for which SuperPDP is selected.
- ID Client (Client ID): paste the Client ID provided by SuperPDP.
- Secret Client (Client Secret): paste the Client Secret provided by SuperPDP.
- Joindre la facture PDF (Attach the PDF invoice): tick this option if you also want to send the invoice PDF alongside the Factur-X format.
Bac à sable (Sandbox)
Enable the Bac à sable option to test sending in SuperPDP's test environment. The company number is automatically replaced with Tricatel's (000000001) – without changing your own settings.
